Candidates Forum

A candidate forum for the City of Poteau mayor and street commissioner elections took place Tuesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, which was moderated by LeFlore County Republican Chairman Bob Hawley, back. Candidates who participated were, from left, mayor candidates Jarrod Ridenour and current Mayor Scotty White and street commissioner candidates Gary Gray, Ryan Ashton Cripps, Eric Blaylock and current Street Commissioner Ronnie Burgess. Also, both Poteau Public Schools Board of Education candidates Chris Fenton and LeFlore County Emergency Management Director Dennis Yochum along with Poteau City Council candidate Karen Mills gave their platforms to those in attendance.
