Heavener rallies at Coalgate, beats Atoka

Heavener beat Coalgate at home on Monday with a five-run sixth inning. Meredith Smith hit a go-ahead two-run double.

Smith, Mariana Garcia and Gracie Morrison each went 2-for-3. Ava Cartwright had a hit, a walk and an RBI. Kinley Brand threw six strikeouts.

Brand threw a threehitter with 11 strikeouts and a walk in a 1-0 win at home against Atoka on Tuesday.

Morrison singled in the lone run in the second inning. Paisley Stacy and Mariana Garcia went 2-for-3.

Cameron blanks Gans, edges Pittsburg

Lainey Dyer threw a three-inning no-hitter as Cameron beat Gans 12-0 at home on Monday.

Dyer threw three strikeouts and allowed two walks. Maggie Ibison went 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Addyson Cornell had a hit and two RBIs. Olivia Russell walked and drove in two runs.

Dyer went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs as Cameron edged Pittsburg 6-5 at home on Tuesday.

London Dyer scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly by Jalyn Baker in the bottom of the seventh.

Ashley Montgomery went 2-for-2 with two walks and an RBI.

LeFlore sweeps Arkoma

LeFlore won two close games at Arkoma on Monday. LeFlore took the first game 5-3, leading 5-2 by the third inning. Bryson Brown, Kaylee Neal and Piper Warren each went 2-for-2. Warren had three RBIs.

Arkoma’s Kynleigh Sebo walked twice.

LeFlore rallied with a four-run fourth to win the second game 5-4. Brown went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Alyssa Waits went 2-for3. Rayson Garman was 2-for-2.

Arkoma’s Kaydence Batt was 3-for-3 with a home run.

Spiro sweeps Vian

Spiro beat Vian 11-1 at home on Monday in District 3A-7 play.

Lindsey Wortham went 3-for-4. Kami Autrey went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Eiana Graham had a hit and three RBIs. Corbie Buffington went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Ava McLemore went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Spiro won 7-5 at Vian on Tuesday, grabbing a 6-1 lead by the second inning.

Desirae Reed went 2-for-2 with two walks and three RBIs. Autrey threw nine strikeouts, hit two doubles, walked and had two RBIs.

Ava McLemore went 3-for-4 with two RBis.

Whitesboro downs Keota, Arkoma

Madison Grogan threw a four-inning two-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks as Whitesboro beat Keota on Monday.

At the plate, Grogan was 2-for-2 with a walk and four RBIs. Madi Edwards and Samantha Craig each had a hit and two RBIs.

Grogan and Linley Collins combined on a fourinning perfect game as Whitesboro beat Arkoma 10-0.

Grogan struck out all nine batters she faced and went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Kayleigh Walker doubled twice and had two RBIs. Maura Cole had a hit and three RBIs.

Panama holds off SC

Panama won 11-8 at home in its District 2A-6 opener against Sallisaw Central on Tuesday.

Panama (3-2) earned an 11-3 lead in the fifth inning before staving off a late rally by Sallisaw Central.

Krista Dotson threw seven strikeouts.

Haylee Holley went 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Jayden Timms also had two hits and a walk.

Red Oak downs Stigler

Red Oak earned its second win against Stigler in less than a week on Monday, 7-2 on the road.

Hayden White went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and threw four strikeouts in the full seven innings.

Kaylee Cannon went 3-for-4. Maycee Butcher had a double and two RBIs. Allie Tovar was 2-for-4.

BV beats Stonewell

Buffalo Valley beat Stonewall 4-1 at home on Monday.

Kelsey Cauthron allowed a run on three hits and a walk while throwing six strikeouts in four innings. Courtney Grey allowed a hit and threw seven strikeouts in three relief innings.

Baseball Cameron defeats LeFlore, Bokoshe

Cameron won 10-7 at LeFlore on Monday.

LeFlore led 3-2 after an inning, but Cameron scored five runs between the fourth and fifth innings for a 10-5 lead.

Gavin Morgan had two hits. Hunter Welker doubled, walked and had three RBIs. Karson Burks walked four times and drove in a run. Taylen Darnell went 2-for-3 with a walk and four RBIs.

For LeFlore, Rylan Luman was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Mason Green had a hit and two walks. Luke Herell hit a run-scoring triple.

On Tuesday, Cameron beat Bokoshe 23-2.

Welker went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Mogan had a hit and three RBIs. Francis went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs.

For Bokoshe, Jaxon Woodral had a hit and two RBIs.

Both teams lost to Preston, with Bokoshe falling 12-0 and Cameron dropping 15-2.

LeFlore lost 12-0 at Oktaha on Tuesday.

Taymon Vocque had two of LeFlore’s four hits.

Wister beats Stonewall

Wister won 13-1 at Stonewall on Monday.

Tucker Wooten homered during an 11-run third inning. He was 2-for-3.

C.J. Halford and Joe Hammons both had two hits and two RBIs. Jayden Byars was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

Howe splits twinbill with Smithville

Howe split a home doubleheader with Smithville on Tuesday. In Game 1, Howe won 5-4 in six innings as Kobe Wooten singled in Garrett Smith.

Wooten also walked three times. Smith went 3-for-4. Cole Wann had a hit and two walks. Brody Sullard threw five strikeouts in six innings.

Smithville’s Joe Boles went 3-for-3.

Howe lost 21-14 in Game 2. After trailing 173, Howe rallied with 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth to get within 17-14, but could muster no more in the fifth.

Braden Blake was 2-for-2 with two walks and four RBIs. Myka Thornburg went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Smithville’s Payton Winship went 3-for-3 with two walks and three RBIs.
